Hi, I’m Peter – a Queenslander with salt in my veins and a deep love for discovering the world.

Born and raised in beautiful Queensland, I’ve always felt a strong connection to the ocean and a curiosity about the world beyond the horizon. That curiosity has taken me from the red heart of the Australian Outback to the turquoise waters of the South Pacific—and to so many incredible places beyond.

Travel, for me, has never just been about ticking boxes or snapping photos—it’s about connection. I’ve wandered through vibrant markets in Dubai, soaked in the energy of cities across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., and found peace in the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand. But what stays with me most are the people, the cultures, and the stories that shape each destination.

Cruising is one of my greatest passions. There’s something truly magical about waking up to a new view each morning, breathing in the ocean air, and stepping off the ship into a completely new world. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, adventure, and the open sea—right where I feel most at home.

With over 30 years in the hotel and hospitality industry, I bring a bit of a professional eye to my travels. I notice the details—the welcome at the front desk, the way a room is set up, the little touches that turn a stay into something memorable. I appreciate the effort that goes into creating an exceptional guest experience, and that perspective adds a whole new layer to how I explore the world.

Even with all my international adventures, Queensland will always be home. I’ve spent years exploring—from the lush coastlines to the rugged Outback—and the more I travel, the more I appreciate the richness and beauty of our own backyard.

To me, the best kind of travel teaches you something. It challenges you, opens your eyes, and fills your heart. Every trip is a new story—and I can’t wait to keep collecting them.
