Some of my travel highlights would have to be staying at the iconic Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe, seeing Hippos in Botswana on the Zambezi, a luxury safari in a private game park in South Africa, cruising around the Caribbean, sailing down the Nile in Egypt, living like a local in a small French village (several times!), skiing down mountains in Austria, and enjoying a luxury river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. Relaxing at a beautiful 5 star resort in The Maldives, swimming with dolphins in Mauritius and cruising around so many beautiful Greek Islands on a small ship with lots of swimming stops! Visiting the stunning Taj Mahal in India, and seeing Japan in cherry blossom season. Witnessing a show of the Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) onboard an expedition style small ship in Alaska was incredible as was kayaking around the glaciers and fjords from our ship with a zoologist.
I am passionate about France being a real Francophile! I adore Italy, Croatia, Greece and Spain and Portugal. All of the Mediterranean and cruising is my specialty. With so many small/mid/large ships and river cruise options available I can provide recommendations to suit your individual requirements and have access to the best deals available in the market.
Also I am lover of active style holidays, cycling, walking or hiking. Having completed parts of the Camino, cycling holidays throughout Europe and a combination of barge and cycle holidays are a great way to experience a country. See my blog on a self-guided cycling holiday along the Canal du midi in France from Toulouse to the Med! Having a second home in The Netherlands cycling is part of life! Not to mention tulip time in the The Netherlands is a must and I know this country very well.
