My Personal Travel Experience

We joined Your Cruise and Travel as a home-based independent agent in 2017 to offer specialised travel experience with helpful information to make your travel a memory that you want to remember.

I started with TAA back in 1970 as a ticket officer on the domestic counter, but after gaining one of the first diplomas from IATA in international travel, I was transferred to the overseas travel section gaining experience to become an office manager. In 1980, Air Niugini offered a position in Port Moresby where I became the Pricing Manager and delegate to IATA conferences. A wonderful experience with lots of travel, which led to a position with IATA in Genva where we lived for 5 years and again had the opportunity to travel within Europe and Asia. Returning to Australia to join Compass Airlines in 1990 became a set back but then came to opportunity to join Royal Brunei Airlines where I ended up as Reservations and Ticketing Manager for Australia before the airline ceased services to Brisbane. Missing travel, I then joined Corporate Travel Management in their groups area for 5 years before setting up on our own.

We have experienced many cruises, travelled by road and rail in Europe, USA and Canada have travelled to many of the major capital cities in Asia and the Pacific. Alaska is our favourite but you still can’t go past the wildlife in Africa or the people of the Pacific area.
